As if the snow and cold wasn’t enough, the South part of Bepton was without water today until about 3pm. Apparently there was a leak in Lodsworth which affected quite a large area and a number of villages were without water. In fact, the problem seemed to start on Thursday, 24 January but the water came back on. I wonder how many people thought that they had frozen pipes.
Anyway, the lack of water, or low water pressure, does seem to be a relatively frequent occurence. Not every day but often enough that it is noticeable. I suppose that’s what we have to put up with if we want to live in such an idyllic setting.
