At our recent Annual Parish Meeting, parishioners expressed concern both about the overgrown state of the village green (opposite The Country Inn) and the path outside Frogmore. Shortly after the meeting the green was cut by one of the local residents and we were promised that West Sussex County Council would cut it around the 21st of each month. Similarly, our County Councillor, Gordon McAra pursued the work outside Frogmore and he was told it would be started around a week ago.
Unfortunately neither of these has come to pass. The Council didn’t cut the green last month and nor did they start work on the path. We are grateful that our local resident cut the green again today and Cllr McAra is chasing the Council once more on our behalf on both these issues.
