You will have probably noticed that work has started to raise the footpath outside Frogmore at the North end of the village.
The Parish Council has been pressing for this work to be done for a number of years. We were finally successful by winning a grant from West Sussex County Council (WSCC) and, with WSCC’s help, contracting with their approved suppliers. The aim is to avoid the flooding and the consequential need for pedestrians to step out into the road at what can be a dangerous corner.
In the meantime, there is a disruption because of the traffic controls. We hope that the work won’t take too long and we shall then have a fit for purpose footpath.
