Thanks are due to the Park House which sent a team out today, at the South end of the village, with a digger to clear some of the blocked drains.
The huge amount of rainfall had caused the lane from the T-Junction northwards to look like a river. In turn the water had moved silt and blocked a number of drains. Thanks to the efforts of the Park House team, the water has cleared significantly. However, there is still a problem with a blocked culvert just past the Park House. The Parish Council has been in touch with both Cowdray and West Sussex CC about it. Each has said that they will seek to identify the problem.
In the meantime, the Park House team were looking to see whether they could come up with a temporary fix.
