Lorraine Grocott BEM was presented with her medal recently by the Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex, Mrs Susan Pyper at a ceremony in Milland Memorial Hall.

Lorraine has been the Parish Clerk for Milland Parish Council for 26 years. She has also been Bepton Parish Council’s clerk for a shorter, but not insignificant, period. The ceremony was attended by some 90 members of Milland’s community and colleagues.
